How do I delete a video?
If you need to delete a video, you will need to wait for it to completely upload.
If your video has not been uploaded yet, do the following:
1. Log out of the app and log back in. This will delete any videos that have not yet been uploaded.
If your video is Uploaded, do the following to delete it:
1. Tap on the 'More' button at the bottom of your response card, then you will get into the response detail page.
2. Tap on the 'Edit' button at the top right of the screen.
3. Tap on the “Delete” button on this screen to delete your video.
When I try to upload a video nothing happens/I can only see a black screen
When you first signed up, Indeemo asked you for permission to access your camera and microphone. This access is necessary for you to be able to use our app for videos and photos. If nothing happens when you try to record a video in Indeemo app, this means you didn’t grant that permission to the app. To fix this:
- Go into the settings on your phone, scroll all the way to Indeemo app
- Tap on Indeemo and allow it to access the Camera, Photos and Microphone
- Go back to the Indeemo app and record your video.
I cannot see the video/photo I require from the Indeemo App.
It looks like this might be a permission issue on iOS which restricts what media you can see through the Indeemo app. To resolve the issue, can you please try the following?
1. Go to the iPhone Settings App.
2. Scroll down to Indeemo and go to Photos and choose "Edit Selected Photos"
3. Please tap on the media file(s) you wish to grant Indeemo permission to access
4. Click Done to confirm the permission change.
Once this is done, please go back to Indeemo App, tap +, choose Photo or Video and you should be able to see your chosen files.
My video stays at 0%
If your video is stuck at 0%, it means you are not connected to the internet. Please make sure you have wifi and reopen the app. Pull down on the My Responses screen to force the upload to restart.
My video has stopped uploading / is stuck between 0% and 100%
If your video is stuck between 0% and 100%, it means you are not connected to the internet. Please make sure you have wifi and reopen the app. Pull down on the My Responses screen to force the upload to restart.
The app freezes / crashes when I try to upload a video
To resolve this, try the following:
- Kill the app and restart it.
- Log out of the app and log back in.
- If 1 or 2 do not resolve the issue, log out, delete the app, reinstall it and log back in.
- Then try again. If you still have issues, scroll down and select Contact Us.
I cannot hear the audio on my video when I play it
If you cannot hear the audio on your video:
- Ensure your phone is not on vibrate mode
- Turn up the volume.
- Please restart your phone and try to record another video.
I try to record a video and it immediately stops recording
This sounds like an issue connected to the lack of space on your phone. Check your Storage in the settings to see how much space you have left.
Delete any unused apps or files to create more space and try again.
Can I upload more than 1 video or photo to a Task?/ When I try to upload a second response to the same task, it automatically removes my first response. Why?
You can post as many photos or videos as you wish to a particular task.
However, each upload can only contain 1 photo or 1 video, so you will need to upload each photo and video separately and select the check box for the task each time.
